What if some of the equipment is on finance?
It can still be sold, but only with the finance company's agreement. The lender is usually paid the settlement figure from the sale proceeds. Tell us what is on finance when we first speak so we can contact the lender early. Selling financed assets without consent creates a personal liability, and it is one of the most common causes of delay in a closure sale.
