Business asset auctions in Edinburgh
We run auctions and private treaty sales for businesses in Edinburgh, Lothian, and the towns around it including Livingston, Dalkeith, Musselburgh, Loanhead, Dunfermline, Bathgate, Penicuik, Haddington. Sales are catalogued and held on your premises, or we collect the assets and sell them from our own premises when that suits better. Bidding is online and open to trade buyers across the UK.
Edinburgh has less heavy industry than Glasgow, but the city and its surrounding towns have a large base of construction contractors, plant hire yards, vehicle workshops, food producers and distribution firms. Sighthill Industrial Estate in the west is the main industrial area and includes Seven Hills Business Park. Newbridge, near the M8 and M9 junction, has Lochend Industrial Estate and larger warehousing. Seafield and the port at Leith hold older units and marine trades. Loanhead and Straiton, just south of the bypass, have further estates in Midlothian.
The A720 City Bypass links the M8, M9, A1 and A702. The Queensferry Crossing carries the M90 north into Fife. Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket stations are on the East Coast Main Line. Access for large vehicles is easiest on the western estates, which sit close to the motorway network.
